Digital odometer, fuel gauge, Temp gauge out?
2000 GMC Sierra, Car alarm related. Accidentally a shorted wire to the ground, IGN C fuse blew (Replaced). Digital odometer, fuel gauge, Temp gauge, air conditioning, radio no longer work. I noticed a multi-switch (To the left of the steering column), Pink / White conductor is no longer provided constant 12V supply. I spliced a 12V supply from one same key (red wire) and it all starts to run again. Obviously, this pink / white wire supplied 12V accessory to orange wire on the ignition, allowing Radio & A / C work. No fuses blown-what caused the pink / white wire to continuously lose 12V?
Check to see if there is fusable link in this scheme somewhere. Worst case, allow new phone you started to supply power to place.
