aquavie water purifier?

I saw a commercial for aquavie water purifier. If you don't know what it is, look it up on youtube and you should find a clip of it. you pour water in the container, turn it on, it evaporates the water, and basically makes it rain in the other container i think. it supposidly removes 99.9% of contaminents. Is this worth buying or not? it's about 290.00, but i spend about 10 a week on bottled water, so if it works it'll save me a TON of money.

$290? Holy cow... I was thinking about buying one too, but they don't tell you how much it's gonna cost. I don't know if I can justify spending $290.
The selling point for me was that I'd no longer have to carry those cases of water up to my apartment anymore, AND, no more CRV (5 cents per bottle where I live!). BUT, I'd have to get my own bottles to be able to carry the clean water in. And trying to be environmentally conscious, I'd be washing my own bottles.

I think it's a worthwhile investment. I'm tempted to use it on bottled water, then when the "purified" water comes out, run that through the purifier again to see if it gets even cleaner.
