Is there any major difference in how a light switch is wired up in a mobile home versus a house?
My nephew installed a light switch in mobile home the same way a house light switch is wired. (Had no experience with a mobile home) Is there a difference with ground wires?
He also used an electric box and switch normally found in homes... not exactly like what he replaced in the mobile home. Mobile home is about 9 or 10 years old.
The wiring IS copper and it hasn't thrown any breakers...
The box used was the same size and what is typically used in a residential home. It didn't need to be shorter.
My mobile is 20 years old and is wired exactly like a conventional home. I've had walls apart and seen what was done( I wired my last house from new construction to final inspection so I have some idea), and had electricians in to do wiring here, saw what they had to work with here and they had no comments about "oh, it's a mobile".
