what type of kitchen flooring should i get?

i have cherry cabinets which are a little dark, black granite countertop and stainless steel appliances. what kind of flooring should i get? we weill get a backsplash that will match with the flooring.
i prefer ceramic tiles so what color would look best?

Ceramic tile is the most practical. I would suggest a beige or grey tile with a mottled pattern. We have a solid color tile and every water drop that hits the floor leaves a spot. You end up spending too much time cleaning these up just to make the floor look clean when it really isn't dirty. Also use a dark grout because a light one will show dirt.

Finally be sure and seal the tile and grout to keep spills from being absorbed into the tile or grout.
