Vote Twice for State Representative, HD 55

With the special election and general election for State Representative occurring on the same day and on the same ballot, there can be some confusion at the voting booth.

The special election is at the top of the ballot, and only decides who will serve as State Representative until mid-January 2009. To vote for the full two-year term, voters need to vote in the general election. If you vote straight Democratic party, Sam and all other democrats on the ballot will get your vote.  If you vote for each race individually, Sam will need your vote again on the back of the ballot, too.
